Gogebic County Parks Information
There is seasonal site availability at the Lake Gogebic County Park for the 2025 Season. To reserve a seasonal site please call (906)663-4428 x3 on the second Monday in January per policy.
All nightly and monthly campground reservations begin the second Monday in January and must be made via the online reservation system which is linked to each park page prior to occupying a site. Only one reservation per site occupant/date range is permitted per policy. Reservations must reflect the site occupants information. Reservations that violate this policy will be subject to cancellation.
Please be advised that reservations should be obtained prior to travel to the county parks as wifi is not available to the public and cellular service is not always reliable.

WUPHD BEACH QUALITY MONITORING
Local health departments are authorized to sample and evaluate water quality at public bathing beaches according to the Michigan Public Health Code, P.A. 368 of 1978. This law also mandates that all designated public bathing beaches post a sign onsite stating whether or not the water quality has been monitored.Weekly correspondence and sampling will be done by the Western UP Halth Department Environmental Health Technicians.
